I Am Very Impressed
Service: I came in for my biyearly cleaning and 5 cavity fillings, which both went smoothly. All of the manual paperwork was done on an iPad and saved for future visits. The x-rays were done using a portable x-ray gun so you can remain seated in the dental chair. For the fillings, Dr. Patel adjusted the filling layer until my teeth lined up the way they did before the fillings. The tools he uses are rather modern. The wall-to-ceiling glass walls help keep you entertained during the procedure. Altogether, I was in and out of the office in 2 hours (paperwork + cleaning + fillings).
Staff/Accommodations: Incredibly friendly dental hygienists. They explained how the depth of gum lining around the teeth affects gingivitis, how to avoid bleeding while flossing (I wasn't flossing correctly and they showed me how), and which teeth I should add focus to while cleaning (the ones in the back). Beforehand, I didn't quite know what gingivitis was and assumed it was when your gums turn black, but it turns out it's just softening/infected gums from lack of stimulation/physical stress. There is also a Keurig and a 'to-go' bag with a useful (not the $0.99) toothbrush, travel floss, and travel toothpaste - great if you're a consultant and would normally have to buy those things. The office is in a modern tower, and a breath of fresh air versus the typical gloomy dental offices from when I was a child.
